We overwintered our blueberries inside the greenhouse this past season. There is always so much to do in the spring...transplanting, watering, seeding, planting container gardens, placing plant orders, moving plants around...that we sometimes lose track of things. I was walking by our pond this week and noticed that the blueberries are all in bloom. Such delicate, gorgeous bell-shaped blooms. And what a delightful fragrance! Simply intoxicating. And I thought blueberries were good!

Just a little bit early still for many vegetables but we are getting started with Rhubarb. This is a hardy perennial that is harvested for its red stalks. It is best to allow the plant to mature for at least one season before attempting to harvest from it.
